Description | The Beacon was a monthly magazine for Boots office and factory employees which ran from 1919-1969. It's strapline was "Kindled in our common interests". Each issue contained articles and photographs on Boots factories and the products manufactured, the different internal departments such as printing, audit and shopfitting and sections on employee welfare, sports and social activities, marriages, obituaries and retirements.

From December 1939 - December 1947, The Mixture replaced The Bee and The Beacon as the magazine for all employees. |
