The Panel held monthly meetings and the main discussions include recommendations on which joint research should be conducted to the Board, the development of plans for co-ordinated research on any subjects approved, consideration of reports on related research, consideration of the work of Biological Committee and other sub-committees of the Panel, and the consideration of papers to be submitted for publication. After the Research Panel Executive was established in 1946, the Research Panel were primarily concerned with all routine research matters. |
