DescriptionBlack and white training film containing two films. The films are introduced by Lord Trent, John Boot, Chairman of Boots Pure Drug Company, and the first film is narrated by him. The first film introduces colleagues to the D10 factory at Beeston. It includes footage of the Puffing Billy steam engine, the Packaging Hall, the storage facilities, bottle washing, conveyor belts, the trolley railway, the pater noster and the laboratory facilities. The second film looks at customer service and gives examples of good and bad service. The film also follows the training of Miss Smith, a new employee and her interactions with customers. The film ends with John Boot advising employees to discuss the film with their colleagues and put into practice what they have learnt.
