Other events mentioned include a young ladies garden party organised by Florence which catered for about 700 for tea. Non-sporting social events, such as Boots employees Savings Fund, the Fire Brigade, and Territorial Army are covered, and obituaries of people who had been active in the Athletic Club.
Number 14 covers the opening of the Dorothy Boot homes and the rifle range at Lady Bay as well as Florence Boot's birthday which was celebrated by nearly 1000 staff being taken to White City for the Franco-British exhibition. 4 black and white photographs depitcting these events.
